Boy do I have a FUN engagement session for you guys today! We’re taking a look at Cora and Andrew’s engagement photos which we took at Cora’s family farm in Central Illinois! This session was an absolute blast to document, a beautiful showcase of Cora and Andrew’s lives at the moment, and a perfect lead up to their farm wedding in June. Check out the highlights from their session and how these two took extra care to really make their session their own!

Engagement Photos on Cora’s Family’s Farm in Central Illinois

Being on Cora’s family’s farm in Central Illinois gave us a TON of options to get creative when it came time to document their engagement photos! From old barns and dusty roads, to cuddles with the cows and the gorgeous landscape of the countryside, variety was in no short supply for the day. This made things all the more fun as Cora and Andrew made their way around the farm as I felt like every turn had something we just HAD to stop at! This meant that while their entire engagement session took place on the farm’s property their album has such a feeling of variety to it.

As for Cora and Andrew, they were of course the stars of the show! They’re both so fun and down to earth, and just some of the happiest people I’ve had the privilege of photographing. The entire session was full of so much laughter, so many smiles, and just the purest love and I CANNOT get enough!

Making Their Session Their Own

My love for Cora and Andrew’s location choice extends further beyond just how varied and enjoyable the farm was. Having their engagement photos taken at Cora’s family farm in Central Illinois was extra special as just recently Cora and Andrew got their own house, land, and cows! Having their engagement session on the family farm allowed these two to document this stage in their relationship authentically without needing for their homestead to be fully set up. It’s a fantastic way that they were able to make their session true to them and document this incredible life that the two have created with one another.
