What a way to kick of the weekend! Friday night before H&D’s wedding in Jacksonville, IL, they invited their friends & family to celebrate.
I was so happy to be there!!! The next day they were getting married at Chapter II Events- a college library turned venue! Check out this detailed feature of this gorgeous venue for your wedding in Jacksonville, IL.
35 minutes from Springfield, Jacksonville is the cutest little town!! On the town square there is The Little Stove. It’s a cozy, delicious spot for drinks, small plates, and true True Neapolitan Pizza (Vera Pizza Napoletana).
Last fall, Haley, Danny, and I hung out for their engagement photos in Springfield, IL! The vibes were very cozy, roaming around the park vibes.
This rehearsal dinner was extra special. On their wedding day, Haley & Danny would not have a wedding party, just the two of them! So they asked their best friends to give speeches the night before instead. This way they could enjoy the wedding in Jacksonville without having wedding party duties. It was PERFECT.
Dan & Melissa have known Danny & Haley for 10 years. We were in tears. Ugh so sweet!!
Rehearsal dinners are so fun! Adam & Josh hosted their loved ones at The Pearl in Springfield for their rehearsal dinner.
NOTE: When they hosted their rehearsal dinner, the Little Stove was temporarily closed to the public. H&D were able to host, ordering food from Leo’s Pizza, while The Little Stove provided bartenders and drinks.
The Little Stove is now open again for food & drinks!! Yay!
It was the sweetest way to kick off a wedding weekend!!
